Elevate Health Holistic Wellness & Physical Therapy was founded in 2020 by Rachel Skaw, DPT, CHC. In Rachel's  first years of practice as a physical therapist, she became increasingly aware that there is an immense amount of suffering from pain and other health conditions that is being experienced unnecessarily in our communities. After working in several different settings (outpatient orthopedic, acute care, & home health) and developing a strong, unrelenting passion for wellness, Rachel decided it was time to answer a call that had been inside of her for some time. She envisioned an environment that would allow her to work more toward prevention in a personalized, relaxed fashion. Thus, Elevate Health was created.

 

The micro-practice is located inside of BeWell mqt, a wellness center in the heart of Marquette, MI. This perfectly positions Elevate Health to be among other like-minded individuals who have health and wellness promotion at the core of their missions. The space is beautiful, calming, and healing. We rent a private room with access to a shared bathroom and reception and seating areas. We offer physical therapy and health coaching services, all of which are one-on-one & provided by Rachel. She considers the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) and each session is personalized to your specific needs.
